Guitar Pro 5 is a special file format to store digital sheet music specifically for Guitar sheet music. It is available only if you choose the guitar or bass model for transcriptions.

.gp-File are compatible with e.g. Guitar Pro 8 or TuxGuitar (FOSS) for viewing and editing the transcription.
